Dr. Elizabeth Brunt is currently Professor of Pathology and Immunology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO. As professor of Pathology and Immunology at Washington University, Dr. Brunt’s primary work focuses on fatty liver disease, principally nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, and hepatocellular carcinoma. She has been published more than 168 times on the study of hepatopathology and has earned immense respect from national and international colleagues for her NASH grading system publication in November 2010. She has worked as a site pathologist and central pathologist for NIH funded grants for NASH and viral hepatitis C and B.
